Nine Awkward Dates is a short animated film that is currently going through the film festival circuit. As the name suggests, it depicts nine dates that get very awkward, verging on the absolutely absurd.

It was nominated for Best Comedy at the 2025 Chicago Film Frenzy.

Nine Awkward Dates was written and animated by myself. It has seven minutes of hand-drawn animation done by myself over the period of several months, primarily using an iPad.
